What are The Mobileys?

The Mobileys honor entrepreneurs who inspire and make a difference through mobile innovation.

This annual national competition produced by Mobile Future seeks to spotlight and support early-stage wireless apps, services and/or products that make the world a better place.


We challenged innovators across the nation to show us their game-changing mobile apps, products, and services. The response we received exceeded our wildest expectations. Below are the finalists for The 2014 Mobileys competition.

  • CareGivingApp

    CareGivingApp is an interactive, calendar-based mobile and Web application for creating and organizing family and community care networks.

  • Code Blue

    Code Blue is a mobile app that helps teenagers and young people experiencing depression or bullying get immediate support.

  • First Derm

    First Derm is a mobile app that provides both consumers and businesses a faster, more convenient means to receive professional opinion on skin care.

  • fitRaise

    fitRaise is peer to peer crowd-funding with a fitness twist through virtual events for non-profits, charities, and causes.

  • Native Numbers

    Native Numbers is an adaptive, mastery-based curriculum delivered via iPad that develops “number sense” in pre-K/K children (age 4-6).

  • Panic Pop

    Panic Pop is a mobile game designed to help ease the symptoms of panic disorder.

  • Pawzii

    Pawzii helps animal shelters, humane societies, and municipalities manage their pet licensing programs online.

  • TREWGrip Mobile Dock

    TREWGrip is a handheld keyboard and air mouse for today’s mobile technology, smart TVs, and desktop computers.

  • VolunteerMark

    Volunteer Mark is a mobile app that makes it easy to find the perfect volunteer opportunity based on skills, interest, availability and location.

  • Wexus

    The Wexus (short for Water-Energy-Nexus) mobile app helps agribusinesses quickly access energy, water and billing data from virtually anywhere.

Early Stage

Applicants should be individuals or early stage start-ups that have either recently launched their nominated mobile app, service or other product or plan to do so within six months.

Game Changer

This product should be a creative game changer that uses mobile in new ways to have a positive impact on our lives.


Winners must be able to demo their innovation in November 2014 at an event announcing the winners.

Seeking Capital

A little money can go a long way. The Mobileys prize money should help the winners expand, grow or develop another new game-changing mobile innovation.


The nominated product must run on wireless networks (not just wi-fi).
