What are The Mobileys?

The Mobileys honor entrepreneurs who inspire and make a difference through mobile innovation.

This new national competition produced by Mobile Future seeks to spotlight and support early-stage wireless apps, services and/or products that make the world a better place.

The 2013 Mobileys celebrated some of the nation's brightest tech innovations and we are proud to announce our winners.

  • Page-Out

    Page-Out allows emergency responders the ability to page-out when not available from their smartphones.

  • HeadsUP!

    HeadsUP! is a new transparent display that integrates with your smartphone to display notifications on the windshield without obstructing the driver's view.

  • Learn with Homer

    Learn with Homer is a comprehensive reading app built by literacy experts for the iPad that offers a complete Pre-K and K reading curriculum.

  • INRFOOD

    INRFOOD is a personalized nutrition platform that scans the bar code of over 300,000+ products, and instantly analyzes the nutrition facts and ingredients.

Finalists

We challenged innovators across the nation to show us their game-changing mobile apps, products, and services. The response we received exceeded our wildest expectations. Below are the finalists for The 2013 Mobileys.

  • BOLD Guidance

    BOLD Guidance helps students complete college applications on their mobile devices while allowing high school counselors and parents to view their progress.

  • G-Labs Vision Therapy

    The G-Labs Vision Therapy App is a library of vision therapy exercises designed to be used in Optometrists clinics and at home on the iPad.

  • HeadsUP!

    HeadsUP! is a new transparent display that integrates with your smartphone to display notifications on the windshield without obstructing the driver's view.

  • INRFOOD

  • Launch Trainer App

    Educating millennial entrepreneurs on launching technology companies.

  • Learn with Homer

    Learn with Homer is a comprehensive reading app built by literacy experts for the iPad that offers a complete Pre-K and K reading curriculum.

  • Lineapple

    Lineapple is a tool that allows its users to search for lines, line up, and be notified all without having to stand in traditional long lines.

  • Page-Out

    Page-Out allows emergency responders the ability to page-out when not available from their smartphones.

  • Vheda Health

    Vheda Health is building the first mobile-centric platform that allows a highly personalized approach to chronic disease care and prevention.

  • Wearably

    Wearably is a platform that enables publishers and media companies to send their content to wearable mobile devices such as Google Glass and smartwatches.

Criteria

Early Stage

Applicants should be individuals or early stage start-ups that have either recently launched their nominated mobile app, service or other product or plan to do so within six months.

Game Changer

This product should be a creative game changer that uses mobile in new ways to have a positive impact on our lives.

Demoable

Winners must be able to demo their innovation in December 2013 at an event announcing the winners.

Seeking Capital

A little money can go a long way. The Mobileys prize money should help the winners expand, grow or develop another new game-changing mobile innovation.

Wireless

The nominated product must run on wireless networks (not just wi-fi).
